What do I do?
- Whenever you have some free time, sit down in a silent place and close your eyes.
- Create a mental image of your ideal life, think about how you want your life to be, what you want to have, what you want to become and what you want to do in your life.
- Create a strong, resourceful, positive and a healthy self-image by imagining how you would look, how you would talk, how your voice would sound, how you would dress, walk, run, and drive, and how you would feel in new situations.
- Do this powerfully, with as much emotion, enthusiasm, and determination that you can muster.
- Generate pleasure, feel how pleasurable it feels to have all that you want have, to do all that you want to do and to become all that you want to become in your life.
- When you are on the height of pleasure, anchor this pleasure to something, like pressing your thumb and forefinger or to a keyword like “I’m in control”.
- Next time you feel tempted, for whatever reason, close your eyes – just for a few seconds and really focus on the image you have created.
Why do I do it?
Sexual energy transmutation is the ability to switch a desire for physical contact (or desire to watch porn, masturbate and orgasm) to a similar desire for expression-in art, literature, science, selling or anything else.
The switch may be done so habitually that it is not a conscious act-but it always is there. Napoleon Hill has given a beautiful example of sexual energy transmutation in his book “Think and grow rich”.
He says “Master salesmen attain the status of mastery in selling, because they, either consciously, or unconsciously, transmute the energy of sex into SALES ENTHUSIASM! In this statement may be found a very practical suggestion as to the actual meaning of sex transmutation. The salesman who knows how to take his mind off the subject of sex, and direct it in sales effort with as much enthusiasm and determination as he would apply to its original purpose, has acquired the art of sex transmutation, whether he knows it or not. The majority of salesmen who transmute their sex energy do so without being in the least aware of what they are doing, or how they are doing it”.
Any emotion or state of mind can be transmuted by the simple procedure of changing one’s thoughts.
Sexual excitement brings into being a state of mind in which men develop keenness of imagination, courage, will-power, persistence, and creative ability unknown to them at other times. So strong and impelling is the desire for sexual contact (in our case, it’s the desire to watch porn and masturbate) that men freely run the risk of life and reputation to indulge it.
So, whenever you get sexually excited, just change your thoughts from porn and masturbation to the mental image of your ideal life. With persistence, soon it will become a habit. Just think about it, when all of your passion and sexual energy is focused on the pursuit of success in your work, a business idea, or earning money, your mind fires on all cylinders!
